LIFE wins Manhattan Institute's Civil Society Award
LIFE: A Dementia Friendly Foundation was recognized by the Manhattan Institute for advancing America’s long tradition of civil society through our work to improve and strengthen our community. As a recipient of MI’s $25,000 Civil Society Awards, and with the help of volunteers and private philanthropy, we will continue our efforts to empower the disadvantaged, build caring relationships to support those in crisis, prepare the next generation to realize their full potential, restore and revitalize communities, and much more.
LIFE wins $10,000 Award from Give65!
We are able to provide our services at no cost to participants only because of grants and the generosity of our donors. Thanks to all who donated during the Give65 event, we won the $10,000 financial award! Due to your generosity, we can keep providing services - like care packages to our Memory Cafe Members - and providing educational services to those living with dementia and their caregivers.
