LIFE in the Time of COVID

See how LIFE remains active and helps support those living with dementia and their caregivers

Memory Cafes were previously paused, but we never stopped serving our participants.

Memory Cafes are a place where caregivers and their loved ones can come together and participate in meaningful activities in a supportive, caring, and helpful environment. However, this population is also at higher risk for COVID-19 complications, and holding Cafe's was not safe. But this never kept us from serving those who need us.

Delivering Care Packages to Registered Memory Cafe Members and Participants

LIFE Services managers and volunteers put together collected and donated items into care packages for those who could no longer attend the Cafes. Delivered on the 3rd week of every month, these packages contain:

- News and Updates
- Engaging Activities
- Educational information, such as available webinars for caregivers
- Geared towards you and your loved one enjoying your time together

We were closed once, but we're OPEN now!

Our Memory Cafes offer those living with dementia and their caregivers social interaction, cross generational connection, and general support and understanding. These weekly Cafes are offered at no cost to participants, and are conducted in safe spaces with volunteers and JVS students, and have no obligation for participants to stay for the full 4 hours.
