Last year, LIFE made the difficult decision to cancel our annual October fundraiser. In previous years, our fundraiser helped us raise $6,000 from our cherished supporters. We have been busier than ever and are pleased to announce that we opened new Memory Cafes in BOTH North Ridgeville and Wooster!
LIFE has brought more than one hundred individuals living with
dementia together each year to laugh, share ideas, develop meaningful
encounters and to provide engaging activities. Even while our Memory
Cafes were closed, we worked diligently to expand our services, and
continued to provide support to our Memory Cafe participants through
gift bag deliveries to keep loved ones engaged and active. LIFE is now bigger than ever, and is asking for donations to help us as we
continue to provide resources to those with dementia, as well as their
caregivers.
We look forward to seeing you this October, and ask for your help to raise funds to ensure we can continue to provide these
vital services to those with dementia and their caregivers now that we are open and running again.
